Join Us in Celebrating the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

By: Pa Zong Lee

On Friday, August 15th, we joyfully gather to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one of the most cherished solemnities in the Catholic Church. This sacred day commemorates the Assumption of Mary, body and soul, into heavenly glory at the end of her earthly life. It is a Holy Day of Obligation, and we warmly invite all parishioners to participate in this prayerful occasion.

Mass Times:

  • Thursday, August 14th – 5:30 pm Vigil Mass

  • Friday, August 15th – 8:30 am (Morning Mass) and 7:00 pm (Evening Mass)

The Feast of the Assumption is not only a celebration of Mary's divine role and her faithful “yes” to God but also a promise of the hope that awaits all who follow Christ. Through her Assumption, we are reminded of our own calling to eternal life and the glory that God has prepared for His faithful.

We encourage all members of our parish community to attend Mass and honor Mary’s Assumption with reverence, gratitude, and prayer. Let us come together as a faith family to lift our hearts to God, inspired by Mary’s holiness and her perfect trust in the Lord.

*Please Note: Parish and School Offices will be closed in observance of this Holy Day.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede for us always. We look forward to celebrating with you!
