YOUTH MINISTRY COORDINATOR

We have an immediate opening on the Parish Staff for a Youth Ministry Coordinator.  This full-time 40 hour per week position plays a key role in helping the young people in our parish grow in their relationship with God, guides them on their journey to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, and facilitates youth bible studies, retreats, camps and other programs for 5th – 12th grade students at the parish.  Qualified candidates must possess a thorough understanding of the Catholic Faith, be an active witness to this faith, have strong communication skills, and experience with volunteer management and program delivery. A bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry, Religious Education, Theology, Secondary Education, and/or experience working with middle school and high school youth, Confirmation, or religious education programs is preferred. 

FULL-TIME CUSTODIAN

We are looking for an individual to join our maintenance team.  This is a full-time 40 hour a week position. The daytime hours are primarily Monday – Friday.  However, flexibility is needed to help us cover Parish events.  This role will include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays (scheduled in advance). Primary work will be in our Parish facilities. Duties include vacuuming, cleaning, mopping, set-ups and take-downs.  Prior maintenance experience preferred with the ability to operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers and carpet extractors.  The successful candidate must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, pass a criminal background check and pass an occupational physical prior to employment.

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Due to a pending retirement, the Church and School of St Peter in Forest Lake, MN has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join the Parish staff.  The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and supervises the custodian team and all maintenance aspects of the facilities and grounds, including all mechanical systems and physical structures while adhering to all governmental regulations ensuring a clean, sanitary, safe and welcoming environment for the Parish.  Qualified candidates must have previous supervisory experience, and an understanding of facility mechanical systems and be able to do basic repairs on the building and equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, small engine, carpentry, painting and general mechanical repairs.
